Discovery Semiconductors Celebrates Its 10th Year Anniversary!

On this happy occasion, we thank our patrons, investors, customers and suppliers who have over these 10 years continued to support us and encourage us. What began in 1993 as a "one man, one office" operation has steadily grown into a global enterprise with exports to over 17 countries.

Discovery Semiconductors, Inc. is an ISO 9001:2000 certified high-technology manufacturing company making photodiodes and photoreceivers for 10, 40, and 80 Gb bandwidths. Its products find multiple uses from digital broadband communications to aerospace/military systems. Over the next 10 years, the company has ambitious plans to continue innovation in several areas bringing new technology to rapid commercialization.

Discovery is a privately owned, fiscally conservative company, built by leveraging the technology developed under a number of Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contracts issued by the US Government. A winner of U.S. Small Business Administration's (SBA) Roland Tibbetts award, its management is focused on maintaining profitability while building the company's manufacturing and distribution infrastructure.
