Discovery Semiconductors introduces a small form factor optical receiver. Only 1/10th the size of the Lucent/Fujitsu coplanar package, this module is ideal for 10 and 40 Gb/s applications where space is limited (i.e. transponders). Delivery is with the customer's choice of the optical input connector and a coplanar G-S-G-S-G pattern configuration for the signal outputs.
