Digital 2-R Optical Receiver for OC-192/STM-64

Ewing, NJ - February 12th, 2002

Exciting new additions to the optical receiver product line from Discovery Semiconductors are the single-ended digital 2-R and differential digital 2-R optical receivers. These low noise modules can be used in a wide variety of 10G applications, with or without Super FEC, such as datacom, DWDM systems, SONET/SDH systems, and telecom short/intermediate/long haul systems. Both modules exhibit high sensitivity (-19 dBm typical at 9.9 Gb). Delivery is with the customer's choice of optical input connector and a single ended type K for the R601 or a dual push-on GPPO/SSMP for the differential model R602 coaxial RF output.
