Long-Wavelength (2µm) Wide-Bandwidth Optical Receiver

Discovery Semiconductors introduces a new optical receiver useful for LIDAR and eye safe free space applications, model R202. This low noise module is designed for the 1.2 to 2.2 µm spectrum. Operating in the 3 GHz range with a peak gain of 20 dB (lower frequency limit is 30 KHz but can be ordered with DC option), this receiver is offered in a compact hermetic package with a choice of optical input connector and a type K coaxial RF output.
