Discovery Semiconductors at InterOpto 2000

Manufacturer of fiber optic components exhibits for the first time.

Ewing, NJ -- For immediate release:

Discovery Semiconductors, Inc. directly exhibited its ultra-wide bandwidth optical receivers for the first time in Japan at InterOpto 2000 in July at the MAKUHARI MESSE (International Exhibition Hall, Nippon Convention Center). Mr. Roy Howard, Applications Engineer, enjoyed meeting with the many customers, suppliers and friends of the company who visited the exhibition booth. The visitors saw exhibits documenting the advantages of the Discovery products and several product samples.

"We wish to thank our Japanese customers for their use and support of our products, helpful advice on improving our product and for telling their colleagues about the top performance of our ultra-wide bandwidth optical receivers and O/E converters. Our sales have been increasing steadily as more Japanese design engineers recognize that our products are the best choices for their applications, and are delivered in 1/3 of the time that our competitors require," remarked Mr. Howard. "Our sales representatives in Japan, High-Tech Corp., Sun Instruments and Meisho, have our deepest thanks for presenting our products to the customers, providing them with technical support and helping us communicate effectively. Optcom Magazine has also been an invaluable aid in increasing design engineer awareness of our company and its mission to deliver 10, 20, 40 and higher Gigabit/s optical receivers," he further explained.
